Wind Spirit Sisters is home to stories shaped by Africa. Stories that honour culture, myth, family and the power of storytelling. Together, Jane Flowers and T. Morgan bring unique voices and unforgettable journeys to readers around the world.
THE AUTHORS
Jane Flowers
Jane Flowers is a freelance writer, self-published author, and licensed photographer with a background in journalism and digital media. Her work spans true crime, entertainment reporting, African folklore, and wildlife photography.
She studied communication and web writing through the Australian College of Journalism and New Zealand Open Polytechnic, and has written for publications including The Herald, Trip101, The Zimbabwean Fisherman, and The Cleft Stick. Jane also spent seven years working as an editor for Blasting News USA and UK.
Born and raised in Africa, Jane spent eight years living, studying, and working in New Zealand. She combines her love of storytelling with a deep interest in African history, legends, and landscapes. In the early 2000s, she founded Woryn’s Books Limited and published her first titles, including Blood of the Sacred, later revised as Blood of the Sacred: Legend of a River God. Her recent work includes the sequel New Horizon: Spirits of the Wind.
Alongside writing, Jane contributes wildlife and landscape photography to Shutterstock. Additonally, she contributes articles to a wide range of current online publications. She is currently working on a new book scheduled for release in 2027.
Sue Guthrie
Born and raised  in Zimbabwe, she currently lives in South Africa. She has been married for over 40 years to her husband, Frank, and has two adult children.
A late bloomer, Sue attained her BA Language and Literature specialising in Creative Writing from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2011.
She is happiest when writing. It is a daily, unavoidable compulsion. Her debut novel – Letters from China is registered with the National Library of Congress, USA and she is a member of the Writers Guild in South Africa as well as the South African Indie Authors Assoc. The book is available through their Local Hive website at www.
She has a one-act comedy play script registered with WGSA. The title is ‘Denial’.
Her first children’s book was published by Pearson/Heinemann (UK) and formed part of their educational JAWS series for young readers. She has written  Lifestyle articles for online sites, including SANewsfeed.com and Blasting News UK.
T. Morgan
Born and bred in Zimbabwe, Morgan remains enthralled with the magic and myth that is woven into the soul of Africa and touches every soul that visits her with an indelible, yet ethereal mark. Africa is rich in variety, colour, vibrancy and voice. All of which Morgan strives to capture in the written word.
She requests to remain anonymous in appearance.
